A tattoo often takes several sessions and many hours together, so that personal connection matters just as much as the style.

We always start with a free, no-obligation conversation of about 30 minutes. We discuss your wishes and ideas and look together at what's possible. Because every tattoo is a unique work of art, this lets us give you the best tailored advice. Afterwards you receive a fixed price. Book your consultation.

Our diary is often booked well ahead. So reserve in good time, especially for larger or complex projects.

That depends on the style, the artist and the design. Small tattoos can often be done sooner, while larger projects have a waiting time. During the consultation you'll hear what's possible.

You always pay a fixed price per project, never an hourly rate. The price depends on the size, the detail and the placement on your body. After the free consultation, you'll know exactly where you stand.

Yes, provided it is technically feasible. We assess your current tattoo carefully during the consultation and give you honest advice, including about the number of sessions.

In many cases, yes. It depends on the type and age of the scar. We always assess this together first.

A tattoo is a permanent choice. That's why we only work with well-considered designs and take plenty of time for the creative process. We only begin when everything is right.

• Make sure you're well rested and have eaten properly.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Avoid alcohol and drugs for 24 hours beforehand.
• Wear clean, comfortable clothing.
• Bring enough food, such as sandwiches, bananas, cereal bars or fruit.

You'll find everything in one place under your appointment.

You're welcome from 10:00 and we start at 10:15. First we discuss your wishes and finalise the design in full. Only when you're 100% happy do we start tattooing. We take plenty of breaks along the way. A full-day session lasts until about 18:00.

A valid form of ID, your reference images, snacks and your own drinks if you like. Also bring your phone or tablet with earphones or headphones to keep yourself distracted. Coffee, tea and water are ready for you.

In most cases we'd rather you didn't, for hygiene and focus. Would you still like to bring someone? Please check with us beforehand.

You can park for free in front of and around the studio. Parking is free throughout Maasbracht. There's a supermarket on the same street and a café opposite the studio (closed on Sundays and Mondays).

Yes. At the end of the appointment we take photos and videos of the final result. We'll send them to you afterwards.

You'll feel a tattoo, but it's rarely unbearable. We work calmly and in a controlled way, so most clients find it more comfortable than they expected.

Yes. Plenty of people with a low pain threshold get tattoos. We adjust the pace and take breaks.

That's completely normal. Our studio is designed for calm and attention. We take our time and make sure you feel at ease.

Yes. We work strictly according to the guidelines of the Dutch public health service (GGD) and use only sterile, disposable materials.

It's rare, but it can happen. Do you have any allergies? Please let us know beforehand.

No. We don't tattoo during pregnancy or while you're breastfeeding, to avoid health risks.

You choose between two methods: traditional aftercare (remove the film after about 2 hours, then wash and apply a thin layer of balm) or Second Skin (a protective film that stays on for 5 to 6 days). After the session we explain everything step by step. Read the full aftercare guide.

Second Skin is a breathable, self-adhesive protective film that shields your new tattoo from dirt and bacteria. You leave it on for the first 5 to 6 days. Your tattoo dries out less quickly, you need to care for it less often, and your clothes and bedding stay clean.

On average 2 to 4 weeks. The first few days matter most for aftercare. Full skin recovery can take a little longer.

Light activity is usually fine after a few days. We advise against intense exercise or heavy sweating in the first week.

Every tattoo changes subtly over time. We design with longevity in mind and advise you on how to preserve the result as well as possible. Once it has healed, always use SPF 50 in the sun.

Yes. Tattoo Club Maasbracht works with tattoo artists from all over the world. They come to our studio in Maasbracht for a period of time, each with their own speciality. This brings international top-level work close to home, something you'll hardly find anywhere else in the Netherlands.
